Elizabeth A. Rook, DO, MPH
Elizabeth A. Rook, DO, MPH is a board-certified doctor of Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. After receiving her bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont, Burlington Vermont, she earned a Master of Arts in Biomedical Ethics from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Ohio, and a Master of Public Health and Medical Degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Fort Lauderdale Florida.
She then acquired her postgraduate training in the Department of Internal Medicine at Loma Linda University Medical Center, Loma Linda. Lastly, she completed her fellowship in Rheumatology at Loma Linda University Medical Center. She is a current member of the American College of Rheumatology, American College of Physicians and American Osteopathic Association.
Dr. Rook specializes in diagnosis and treatment of different autoimmune diseases and osteoporosis for outpatient care. She was an active advisory board member of the Arthritis Foundation Inland Empire office. Dr. Rook serves as a volunteer physician at the New Hope Free Clinic in Redlands, CA.
Dr. Elizabeth Rook advocates for public awareness by emphasizing public education, screening and prevention. As a result, Dr. Rook performs routine community service such as lectures in the Inland Empire to educate the community. She is a full-time rheumatologist at Desert Oasis Healthcare in Palm Springs, CA.
She enjoys reading mystery/suspense novels, traveling and exploring the outdoors. For exercise she likes to hike or do CrossFit. Her favorite thing to when not at work is spending time with her husband and her dog.
