Rheumatology and Internal Medicine
Dr. Noritake has been in practice in Pasadena for 30 years. Before coming to Pasadena, Dr Noritake spent his early years in Los Angeles where he attended Hamilton High School. He did his undergraduate studies at University of California at Irvine and attended medical school at Yale University in New Haven. He then pursued his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at UCLA/Wadsworth VA Medical Center and obtained his fellowship in Rheumatology at UCLA/Sepulveda VA Medical Center.
Dr. Noritake is board certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine and board eligible in Allergy and Immunology. He runs his own private practice in Pasadena, but he is also on the teaching staff for the Huntington Hospital residency program. Previously, Dr Noritake has been a consulting specialist at Olive View Medical Center. Furthermore, he has served on the Arthritis Foundation Medical and Education Committee, the Medical and Scientific Committee, and has also been on the board of directors for Keiro Nursing Home, in Los Angeles.
On a personal note, Dr Noritake has been married to his wife, Lynn, and they have 2 children, a son, Daren, who is in finance and a daughter, Alison, who is an optometrist in the area. Both his children attended school right down the street-Flintridge Prep for high school and Crestview for elementary school, so he very familiar with the La Cañada area.
Dr. Noritake also enjoys remaining active. He enjoys cycling and has ridden in the Arthritis Foundation’s California Coast Classic, which is a weeklong cycling trip from San Francisco to Los Angeles. He has been participated and has been an honoree for the Arthritis Foundation’s Jingle Bell Run.
